Transfer Dorman 600-910 Transfer Case Motor

Very easy to change. 3 bolts and a plug. The directions say to remove the driveshaft. It is easier to remove it but I did it without removing the driveshaft. I did the total job in less than an hour on my 2007 Chevy Tahoe. The dealer gave me directions to relearn the motor. It is press the e-brake, press the service brake, turn on key and put in neutral but do not start.. Turn the selector to desired position ( 2hi, 4hi, or 4lo) then it will change out of neutral shortly

ABN Multi-Use Siphon Fluid Transfer Pump Kit for Gas

I feel like it doesn't quite move as much as I'd like it to with each pump. Also, I've had issues with it leaking between the pump and the hose. I really hope it doesn't get worse. It doesn't leak everytime. Not sure what I'm doing wrong when it foes leak. It's ok, not good, not bad. Also, it came with 4 hoses. I know what two of them are for... It didn't come with instructions. I know it seems self explanatory, but I have no idea what the skinny hose is for. Maybe I'm a derp.

To be honest I did not expect much when received the product. There are a lot of bad reviews about transfer pumps that are much more money than this one. This is all plastic and resembles a hand soap dispenser.
Upon using the pump I was quite impressed. This thing handles thick fluids with ease. I even used it backwards (with a long piece of fuel line attached) to extract transmission fluid all the way up the filler tube and into a jug. I've also used it to pump 80W-90 and lucas oil stabilizer. The top screws onto any quart container and even Lucas product bottles. It works perfect for filling or topping off hard to reach differentials or transfer cases. It is not very fast but it wasn't meant for an oil change even though you could. I found it to be much better than sqeezing a bottle of gear oil until my hands are numb. I'm not sure how it would hold up to fuels but it is cheap enough to replace if it doesn't. I would definitely recommend it.

I decided to take a chance with this product after running all over town to find something like it. Since I live in "hurricane country" the need to transfer gasoline for use in generators, etc is present all the time. I store the gas for my generator in 5 gallon cans, which when full, are very heavy. I was skeptical, but it worked better than I expected. It took me about 4-5 minutes to pump 2.5 gallons into my generator tank. I did not have to lift the can and did not risk spilling gas. Since it is battery powered it can be used when the power is out. All in all, I would recommend it for the average home user as long as it's not for heavy duty use.
